Jumbo Problems, Jumbo Problems, too many elephants on the land
Jumbo Problems, Jumbo Problems, got to get rid of them you understand
You could chase them through the trees, hovering overhead
Then you could shoot them from a distance and send someone to check that they are dead

Well I don't think that's a good idea, to shoot the elephants in the head
It's barbarous and cruel I fear, but we could relocate instead
To transport them to a wildlife park would simply do as well
We'll only take the young and strong ones, on the journey to hell

Mother dearest, mother dearest, what shall I do today
Do I have to learn my lessons, or do I have some time to play
Son, you must understand your roots to know just who you are
But we can practice later on, so go and play, but don't go far

Remember all I taught you son, and it's not over yet
How to respect the world we live in, and all about elephant etiquette

Husband dearest, husband dearest, I'm very worried about our son
I heard the human monsters coming, I'm petrified what they have done
He promised to come home soon you know, to learn about his home
So many young bulls disappearing, perhaps he's frightened and alone

Father help me, father help me, I'm far away in a foreign land
People pay to watch me live, but living like this I don't understand
I'm angry scared but innocent, I have to fight to live
I killed a man who tried to stop me, what they have done, I can't forgive

Jumbo Problems, Jumbo Problems when will we learn to show our young
How to respect, care for each other and pass the skills of loving on
And it's too late to ask them why, they fight and kill and steal
When we take away the care they need without asking how they feel

Remember all I taught you son, and it's not over yet
How to respect the world we live in, and all about elephant etiquette

And it's too late to ask them why, they fight and kill and steal
When we take away the care they need without asking how they feel
